Collective worship is the most important thing that we do together as a church. However, being a part of a group is also important if we are serious about following Christ and maintaining healthy connections with his people. Here are some of the options available through Cornerstone.
Check with the church office (667-6768) for more information. Some of these groups do not meet in the summer and locations and times are subject to quick change.
SPIRITUAL IMPACT GROUPS
+ Adult Seminars meet at 9 a.m. most every Sunday morning during the school year.
+ Men's Prayer Group, 6 a.m., Mondays, in the pastor's study
+ Women's Prayer Group, 9 a.m., Thursdays, location varies.
MINISTRY & SERVICE GROUPS
+ Jubilate, music and worship team rehearsal, 7 p.m., Wednesdays, Fellowship Center. New voices and instruments are always welcome. No age limits.
+ Local Outreach Committee, meetings announced. Local outreach, publicity, evangelism, ministries of compassion -- e.g. monthly food collection for United Samaritans, Turlock Together Collection, We Care Homeless Shelter...
+ Global Outreach Committee, meetings announced.
+ Missionay Support Groups, meetings announced.
AFFINITY GROUPS
+ Cornerstone Cruisers -- Motorcyle enthusiasts who take regular rides together and wreak havoc during the Turlock Christmas Parade.
+ Covenant Women -- All women are invited to be a part of this group that meets monthly. Combined with women from Turlock Covenant Church. Crafts, demonstrations, mission ideas, special speakers, and meals.
